About Natalie
Natalie is a freelance dance artist based in West Wales. She has performed for contemporary dance companies and collaborated on movement projects around the UK since 2010. Within her own practice Natalie is interested in authentic movement and the play between fall and resolve in dance. Natalie loves being outdoors and is wondering how she can bring more of this in to her practice going forward.
Class Description
We will begin gently, using imagery and task based combinations to explore the body’s natural responses. We will fall, we will fly, and we will play with weight looking at how we can use this to initiate dance. We will dance with and without each other exploring connection to people and space.​

​Mae Natalie yn artist dawns llawrydd, wedi lleoli yng Ngorllewin Cymru. Mae wedi perfformio a chydweithio â chwmniau dawns cyfoes ar brosiectau symud o amgylch y DU ers 2010. O fewn ei hymarfer mae Natalie â diddordeb mewn symud yn ddilys a’r chwarae sydd i’w gael rhwng cwympo a datrys o fewn dawns. Carai Natalie fod yn yr awyr agored ac mae’n pendroni sut allith ddod â mwy o hyn i fewn i’w hymarfer wrth symud ymlaen.

​​Fe fyddwn yn cychwyn yn dyner, gan ddefnyddio cyfuniadau delweddaeth a tasgiau i archwilio ymateb naturiol y corff. Fe fyddwn yn cwympo, fe fyddwn yn hedfan, a fe fyddwn yn chwarae â phwysau gan edrych ar sut gallwn ddefnyddio hyn i gychwyn dawnsio. Fe fyddwn yn dawnsio efo a heb ein gilydd gan archwilio cyswllt tuag at pobl a gofod.
