SEEDS Residency // Preswyliad

Seeds is back! Groundwork will support 3 artists to research and create the very beginnings of new movement based work through our remote residency program.

 

Open to artists working anywhere in Wales, Seeds bursaries provide each artist with support to research a new idea, germinating those tentative roots and shoots that might later become a performance work without the pressure of a set outcome.

 

Artists work wherever they are (we can support with space hire if you need it) and are welcome to share the results of their research in ANY form - words, video, drawings… OR they may also choose to apply to our Scratch Event in tandem and share their ideas with a live audience. â€‹

Mae Seeds yn ôl! Mi fydd Groundwork yn cefnogi 3 artist i ymchwilio a chreu dechreuadau gwaith symud newydd trwy ein rhaglen preswylio o bell.

 

Ar agor i artistiaid sy’n gweithio unrhyw le yng Nghymru, mae bwrsariaethau Seeds yn darparu pob artist efo cefnogaeth i ymchwilio i syniad newydd, gan egino'r gwreiddiau a'r egin petrus hynny a allai ddod yn waith perfformio yn ddiweddarach heb bwysau canlyniad penodol.

 

Gall artistiaid weithio lle bynnag mae nhw (gallwn gefnogi efo hurio gofod os bod angen) ac mae croeso iddyn nhw rannu canlyniadau eu ymchwil mewn UNRHYW ffordd - geiriau, fideo, darluniau… NEU mi allen nhw ddewis gwneud cais ar gyfer ein Digwyddiad Scratch ar y cyd a rhannu eu syniadau efo cynulledifa byw.​

Seeds Bursary: 

  • You receive £600 artist fee (seen as a week fee but how you manage your time is totally up to you. Work must be completed and some form of feedback or research evidence shared with us by June 2025) 

  • A fee of £150, for 2 remote conversations or one half day in person session with a mentor of your choice 

  • Support with space hire costs (amount to be agreed) 

  • A platform provided for sharing your research​​​​

Bwrsari Seeds:

  • Mi fyddwch yn derbyn ffi artist o £600 (sydd yn cael ei weld fel wythnos o ffi ond gallwch rheoli eich amser fel hoffech. Rhaid i’r gwaith gael ei gwblhau a rhyw fath o adborth neu dystiolaeth yn cael eu rannu â ni erbyn Mehefin 2025)

  • Ffi o £150, ar gyfer 2 sgwrs o bell neu un hanner diwrnod byw efo mentor o’ch dewis chi

  • Cefnogaeth efo costiau hurio gofod (cytuno ar swm)

  • Darparwyd platfform ar gyfer rhannu eich ymchwil​​​​
