Ward
Lara Ward is an interdisciplinary performer, dance artist and movement director, with 20 years experience and a portfolio career working in dance, film, theatre and participatory arts.
Lara began her career in devised theatre, performing and creating in numerous productions with Earthfall (2008 to 2015), Theatr Iolo, (Am I Dreaming), Mr and Mrs Clark (BaZerkus) and in site located works with National Theatre Wales/Theatr Genedlaethol ({150}), National Theatre Wales/DorkyPark (Branches: The Nature of Crisis), as a soloist dancer with Ensemble Cymru (Jemima Puddleduck and Gareth Glyn) and with independent choreographers in numerous productions with Jo Fong, Caroline Sabin, Light Ladd and Emberton, Javier De Frutos and currently with Kitsch & Sync Collective.
Recent choreographic work includes Honk! (WAVDA), Deffro’r Gwanwyn (Cwmni Urdd), Lloergan, (National Eisteddfod), The Posh Club, (Commonwealth Theatre/Duckie), The Effect (RWCMD), and Miss Prydderch R&D at Yr Egin,
Lara has taught for organisations and educational institutions across Wales, UK and Europe and is a visiting lecturer at RWCMD and choreographer at WAVDA. She continues to balance a collaborative performance and creative producing career with a commitment to enabling access to dance for adults with mental and physical health issues in her local community.

Dechreuodd Lara ei gyrfa ym myd theatr ddyfeisiedig, gan berfformio a chreu mewn nifer o gynyrchiadau gydag Earthfall (2008 i 2015), Theatr Iolo, (Am I Dreaming), Mr a Mrs Clark (BaZerkus) a gwaith safle penodol gyda National Theatre Wales/Theatr Genedlaethol. ({150}), National Theatre Wales/DorkyPark (Canghennau: The Nature of Crisis), fel dawnsiwr unawdydd gydag Ensemble Cymru (Jemima Puddleduck a Gareth Glyn) a gyda choreograffwyr annibynnol mewn cynhyrchiadau niferus gyda Jo Fong, Caroline Sabin, Light Ladd ac Emberton, Javier De Frutos a Kitsch & Sync Collective. Mae ei gwaith coreograffi diweddar yn cynnwys Lloergan, (Eisteddfod Genedlaethol), The Posh Club, (Theatr y Gymanwlad/Duckie), The Effect (CBCDC), a Miss Prydderch R&D yn Yr Egin.

Mae Lara wedi addysgu mewn sefydliadau addysgol ledled Cymru, y DU ac Ewrop ac mae’n ddarlithydd gwadd yn RWCMD a choreograffydd yn WAVDA. Mae hi'n parhau i gydbwyso gyrfa perfformio gydweithredol a chynhyrchu creadigol gydag ymrwymiad i alluogi mynediad i ddawns i oedolion â phroblemau iechyd meddwl a chorfforol yn ei chymuned leol.
Mae rhinweddau gofal, cefnogaeth, cymryd amser i wrando, ysgogi pobl i ddatblygu eu creadigrwydd eu hunain, wedi'u hymgorffori yn ei hymarfer.
